Translation fueled by deep molecular knowledge
The St. Laurent Laboratory investigates the fundamental mechanisms that drive the development of gynecologic cancers, particularly endometrial and ovarian cancer. We focus on understanding how chromatin structure, gene regulatory mechanisms, and the tumor microenvironment contribute to tumor initiation, progression, and metastasis. Our research leverages cutting-edge molecular biology and epigenetic approaches, performed in the context of tissues and systems representative of patient disease. By combining these approaches with advanced sequencing technologies, we aim to discover novel insights into gynecologic cancer behavior and develop unique approaches to treatment.
